Can't say I've been over the moon about it, I didn't know if I'd make it, but I managed a weekend away from the lottie. There's been a few passing comments about the amount of time I've spent down there lately and I thought as the weather was supposed to be rubbish (but fantastic for the lottie) that this weekend would be perfect. Turns out we had a fantastic day, just me, Les and the kids at a maritime museum on Saturday and today was spent relaxing and making Sunday Dinner.It's so hard juggling spending quality time with the kids and Les, friends and family and starting off the lottie without leaving one or the other out, especially as only one of the kids would happily spend the day down there without 'Are we going home yet?' or the newest find... 'I need the toilet!'
I managed anyway and the weather as promised has been warm but wet, perfect. The hubby is on late shift tomorrow and the kids are at school, I've already mentioned I'll be down there in the morning, first thing! Bring it on, I can't wait :D
